Jane Bozarth to Address Questionmark Users Conference
NORWALK, CT – October 25, 2011 – Author and eLearning Coordinator Dr. Jane Bozarth will deliver the keynote address at the Questionmark 2012 Users Conference, to be held March 20 – 23 in New Orleans. This will be the tenth annual North American conference organized by Questionmark, a global provider of assessment technologies and solutions. Bozarth’s presentation, “Look before You Leap: What You Measure is What You Get,” will emphasize the importance of planning quizzes and tests with solid objectives and clear outcomes in mind. She will demonstrate the ways in which assessments can end up failing to measure what authors intend. The presentation will also include tips for improving assessments by building them into the design of a learning program and using them to support organizational goals. Jane Bozarth holds a M.Ed. in Training and Development/Technology in Training and a doctorate in Training and Development. She is the author of several books including From Analysis to Evaluation; and Social Media for Trainers and writes Learning Solutions Magazine’s popular “Nuts and Bolts” column. In addition to her work as Elearning Coordinator for the state of North Carolina, she has a longstanding collaborative relationship with InSync Training, LLC and serves as their social media strategist. Bozarth has received a Live and Online Award, a Training Magazine Editor’s Pick Award, and a North Carolina State University Distinguished Alumni Award for Outstanding Contributions to Practice. The conference, to be held at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans, will bring Questionmark customers together for three intensive days of learning centered on technical training, customer case studies, technology demonstrations and discussions about best practices for creating and deploying online surveys, quizzes, tests and exams. Participants will network with their peers and influence future Questionmark product developments. Information about the conference is available at www.questionmark.com/go/conference.
