Questionmark Awarded Certification by HR-XML Consortium, Inc.

Stamford, CT., June 22, 2005 – Testing and assessment software provider Questionmark has been awarded certification under the HR-XML Consortium’s “HRcertify” program, which certifies HR solutions that conform to the open data exchange standards developed by the Consortium.

Organizations that successfully complete the HR-XML Consortium’s certification process are awarded a logo to use on their websites and a conformance statement within a registry located at www.HRcertify.org. The HR-XML certified logo indicates that the solution provider is a technology leader and is ready to integrate flexibly and opportunistically with customers and partners. Conformance to standards can help employers achieve a smoother path to integrating the Questionmark™ Perception™ assessment management system with core HR systems, ultimately making it faster and easier for HR managers to perform essential tasks such as scheduling assessments or accessing results.

“We congratulate Questionmark for achieving HR-XML Consortium certification,” said Chuck Allen, HR-XML Consortium Director. “HR decision-makers are making compliance with open standards part of the criteria they use when procuring HR solutions. We are pleased to add Questionmark to our registry of certified solutions.”

“It has been a pleasure to work with the HR-XML Consortium on this certification, which reflects Questionmark’s long-term commitment to open standards,” added Questionmark President Eric Shepherd. “Employers are increasingly relying upon testing and assessment in the candidate selection process to ensure they hire candidates with the right knowledge, skills and attitudes, Open data exchange standards are essential to the smooth running of training and assessment programs.”

About Questionmark:
Questionmark has been producing testing and assessment software since 1988. The Questionmark Perception assessment management system allows people to create question files without programming experience or knowledge of HTML. Users can create multiple question banks from which to assemble tests and surveys, organizing questions into topics and sub-topics. They can shuffle questions and answers for each participant and preview sessions to see how they will appear post-deployment. They can present questions with videos, graphics and a wide variety of styles. Participants receive feedback as specified by the test author. Answers are saved to a file for scoring and analysis in a variety of report formats. Businesses, governments, schools, colleges, and universities in more than 50 countries use Questionmark software. Questionmark has more than 2,200 customers using Perception and is a keen supporter of open standards. Typical applications include exams, quizzes, study aids, diagnostic tests, pre-course skills assessments, and course evaluations. Complete information is available at www.questionmark.com
